This may have already been explained, but why is Glade so relatively small when her parents are both so freaking huge? She’s certainly Sequoia’s daughter, though.
Well, Sequoia’s take a while to grow
Many trees like Redwoods and Sequoias take decades if not centuries to reach they’re full height. Within the decade though, since this is compartmentalized, Glade will be much taller than Glenn or anyone including elmsly. Also the Redwood is nice for the “Long live the elder” shtick, since they live for centuries upon centuries and are incredibly tall.
Sequoias are a subcategory of Redwoods
